Job Description:As a Web Developer at GrowthWise, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining websites for our clients using GoDaddy's web hosting and website building platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage cutting-edge technologies, and deliver high-quality web solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Design and develop responsive websites using GoDaddy's web hosting and website building tools, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- Customize and optimize website templates, themes, and plugins to meet client specifications and enhance user experience.
- Implement SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, meta tags, and site structure, to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services, such as payment gateways, social media platforms, and analytics tools, to enhance website functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and marketing specialists to create engaging multimedia content for websites, including images, videos, and interactive elements.
- Conduct quality assurance testing and debugging to identify and fix issues, ensure website functionality, and optimize performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, including troubleshooting technical issues, updating content, and implementing security measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in web development, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of GoDaddy's web hosting and website building platform, including familiarity with its features, tools, and functionalities.
- Experience with responsive web design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Portfolio of previous web development projects demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
