Architecture researcher (remote-Spain only)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Researcher to join our team in Spain. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting research projects related to architectural history, urban development, and cultural heritage preservation. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research initiatives and collaborate with leading experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on architectural history, urban planning, and cultural heritage topics.
  • Collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources, including archival materials, historical documents, and academic literature.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop research proposals, project plans, and methodologies.
  • Generate insightful analysis and written reports to communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary research teams and contribute to collaborative projects with academic and industry partners.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in architecture, urbanism, and cultural heritage conservation.
  • Present research findings at conferences, workshops, and public events to contribute to academic discourse and engage with broader communities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or other degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Art History, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural research, with a focus on historical analysis, urban studies, or cultural heritage preservation.
  • Proficiency in research methods, data analysis, and academic writing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; additional language skills are a plus.
